Romanian Symphonic Jazz
Set inside the Brasov Philarmonic, this concert was a celebration of jazz music and the power of Romanian culture. David Balogh and his trio took the audience on a journey through the succinct but beautiful history of jazz in Romania. Accompanied by the symphonic orchestra with arrangements by Asher Shectman and Juan Jose Aguirre and artistic direction by David himself, the music expanded into new dimensions of emotion. A sold out 400 seats tours de force on a seemingly normal Wednesday evening.

Set in a cozy café in the heart of Brasov, this concert was an intimate evening of jazz music. In a stunning collaboration between David Balogh, the Jazz Quarters trio and Natalia Stefanita (long time collaborator) the concert took the audience on a journey of jazz standards. David keeps coming back to Tipografia, as the venue has a special place in his heart.
